The details

Product description

A softly twisted column that turns as it rises, so the light leaves it in a slow spiral rather than a flat wash. Built layer by layer, so the lines of its making become the design rather than something to hide.

Warm and low when lit — made for the hours after work rather than the middle of the day. It sits well on a bedside table, where it is the last light left on.

Built in our own studio, then cleaned, wired, and checked by hand before it ships to you.

Materials & care

Made from a matte, plant-derived material. The colour runs all the way through, so it can't chip or peel the way paint does. The base is weighted for stability.

Care - dust with a dry, soft cloth. Keep out of long direct sunlight and away from heat sources.

Bulbs - LED only. Filament and halogen bulbs run far too hot for a printed shade. A bulb is included with your lamp.

Shipping & returns

Your lamp is made once the order is confirmed - 1–3 business days to fabricate and check. Transit is counted from dispatch: 3–7 business days to metro cities, 4–9 to the rest of India, 6–11 to remote PIN codes.

Pay in full at checkout, or choose partial COD - a 25% advance (minimum ₹500) online and the balance in cash on delivery, on orders up to ₹15,000 at serviceable PIN codes.

Cancel within 12 hours for a full refund. If it arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours and we will replace it free or refund you in full. Full detail in our Shipping & Delivery and Returns & Replacements policies.

How it's made

Made by hand, not by the thousand

Every shade is built in our own studio in small batches, which is why the surface catches light the way it does. Each one is then cleaned, wired, and checked by hand before it is boxed. Slower than a factory line - and the reason there is no warehouse of unsold colours nobody wanted.

Questions people ask

How long until it reaches me?

Your lamp is prepared once the order is confirmed and dispatched within 5–7 days, with shipping on top of that. We will email you when it goes out.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. The fitting takes a standard E14 LED - we recommend warm white 2700K at 7W or lower, which is what the shade was designed around.

Will the colour fade or chip?

It should not. The colour runs through the whole material rather than sitting on top as paint, so there is no layer to chip off. Keep it out of long direct sunlight and it will hold.

Is cash on delivery available?

Yes - partial COD. Pay a 25% advance (minimum ₹500) online and the balance in cash on delivery, on orders up to ₹15,000. Each lamp is made for your order, so we need that advance before we begin.
